Biado.
GENERAL SANTOS CITY -- Carlo Biado of the Philippines solidly kept his eye to the world title after he streamrolled David Alcaide of Spain, 11-2 in their semi-final match in the ongoing Manny Pacquiao Cup World 10-ball Billiards Championship at the SM City Gensan here Saturday afternoon. After both Biado and Alcaide tied the score at 2-2, Biado, world number 10, went on rampage and didn't give Alcaide, who had some bad breaks in the match, any breathing space. Biado owned the next nine racks to the delight of local fans who cheered Biado's every 10-ball conversion.

In the other semi-final match, Taiwan's Ko Pin Yi, 25, gave a spanking to his younger brother, Ko Ping Chung, 19, with a score of 11-2. The family affair matchup didn't give any excitement to the crowd as the younger brother failed to pose any kind of challenge to his imposing older brother.

Biado will now face Ko Pin Yi in the finals, starting at 4 p.m. in what is to be expected as a hell of a game as both Biado and Ko came in highly confident going into the match. The winner gets the top prize of $40,000 while the loser goes home with $20,000.
