DAVAO CITY ? The main cast of PINOY PRIDE 29: FISTS OF FURY easily
made the stipulated weight during the official weigh-in held Friday noon at SM City Davao.
WBO International junior welterweight titlist Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara (34W-2L,21KO's) of the ALA Gym stepped on the scales at 138 lbs while Mexico?s Cesar ?El Dolar? Chavez (23W-7L,11KO's) was at 139 lbs. They are scheduled to fight for twelve rounds in the main event this Saturday at the USEP Gym.
For the main supporting bout, WBO Intercontinental junior featherweight titlist Genesis ?Azukal? Servania (25-0,11KO's) of the ALA gym weighed in at 121 lbs and his opponent, Juan Luis ?Perla Negra? Hernandez (17-3-1,9KO's) of Mexico also checked in at the same weight. They are also set for twelve rounds.
In a match-up that promises to steal thunder from the main event, another ALA boxer, ?King? Arthur Villanueva (26W-0L,14KO?s) ? 115 lbs will face former WBO world flyweight champion Julio Cesar ?Pingo? Miranda (38-11-2,29KO?s)- 114.5lbs. in a ten round non-title contest.
Blue chip prospect Mark ?Magnifico? Magsayo (9-0,7KO?s) ? 126 lbs vs. Thai Sukkasem Kietyongyuth (13-3,8KO?s) ? 124.5lbs. ? 10 rounds Arjan ?Spartan? Canillas (9W-0L-2D,7KO?s) ? 134lbs vs. Indonesian Stevi Ongen Ferdinandus (15-7-1,8KO?s)-132.5lbs. ? 8 rounds.
For the preliminary bouts ? ?Vicious? Vic Saludar -105lbs vs Lester John Prongco ? 103lbs (8rounds), Rafael Sueno ? 105lbs vs Arnold Garde - 106lbs (6 rounds) and Brian ?Buhawi? Lobitania -117lbs vs Armando Yee ? 115lbs (6 rounds).
