LAS VEGAS -- Amir Iman (16-0-0, 14KO) (R) of Fort Lauderdake, FL kept his record clean by stopping a very tough Fidel Maldonado Jr (19-3-16 KO) of Albuquerque, NM. Iman dropped Maldonado at the end of round 2. In the 3rd round he was dropped by Maldonado but he returned the favor by dropping Maldonado 2x in the same round. Iman dropped Maldonado again in round 5 and ref Robert Byrd stopped the fight at 2:59 of the round.
Cesar Quinonez (1-0-0, 1KO) (R) won his debut fight by stopping Joan Valenzuela (1-2-0, 0KO) of Chula Vista, CA. Referre Russ Mora stopped the fight at 2:15 of the second round.
Vyacheslav Shabransky (12-0-0, 10KO) stopped Garrett Wilson (13-9-1, 7KO) of Philadelphia before the start of round 10. Referee Jay Nady stopped the fight per the doctor's advise. Wilson was down in the 2nd and 8th rounds.
In the curtain raiser, Eric Molina (23-3-0, 17KO) of Rio Grande, TX, stopped Rafael Zumbrano (38-8-1, 26KO) of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Referee Russ Mora stopped the fight a 1:28 in round 8.
