The eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao can only hope to knockout formidable opponent Chris Algieri, a young Goliath mixed martial artist, in their upcoming WBO Welterweight title fight on November 22 at the Cotai Arena in the Venetian in Macau, China.

Asked if he can knockout Algieri, the Pacman said, ?Sana.?

He added, ?Medyo mataas siya, mahaba at mukhang matatag, parehas silang orthodox ni Margarito,? to which the American fighter reacted and said it?s not right to compare him with the Mexican puncher who Pacquiao beat up in November 2010 in Dallas, Texas.

The two are almost the same height, at 5?11? (Margarito) and 5?10? (Algieri), but Algieri said Margarito is ?a lumbering giant who resembles a punching bag,? is large but not an athletic, slow-moving and flat-footed.

?Margarito is not a guy who?s going to be moving, pushing, pulling, using his jab, reaching. He?s a straight-forward slugger there to be hit. Manny kills those guys,? said the 30-year-old Algieri.

He said he is the exact opposite of Margarito.

?Guys who move, guys who have angles, guys who are stylish boxers, Pacquiao has trouble with,? he said.

Algieri is coming from his amazing fight against Provodnikov where he won via majority decision. The fight showed off Algieri?s stamina until the final round.

?Pacquiao should finish him as early as he can,? said Martin Valenzuela, Skil brand manager. Trainer Buboy Fernandez, who thinks Algieri has a strong body but a weak jaw, is also hoping and working to finish the fight early with a KO for the People?s Champ. #
